What can you tell us about your design on the edding Art Series markers?

It features my classic sawn off tentacle, this time with wings, angelically transcending towards the sun. Maybe it's a symbol for life after death or maybe I've just popped one too many energy drinks, not sure?

Which (artists/designers/illustrators etc) have been (or are) your greatest
influences (dead or alive)?

Takeshi Murakami, Jamie Hewlitt, William Hogarth, David La'chapelle, and Ridely Scott. They all have wildly vivid and overactive imaginations, often their work is very over the top or super busy, this has definitely rubbed off on me!

Are you a member of any crews/collaborations/groups? Can you tell us
about them?

Yes I'm part of a few, firstly Pirates is a team of creatives I started, we concentrate on making big ideas become real and work on huge scales across all dimensions. www.wearepirates.co.uk. Secondly, Monorex, is a crew of artists who again often work to a huge scale, but we take on work of any size and any medium, from huge brick walls down to

What is your proudest/greatest achievement to date?

Probably the creation of 'Pop Up Pirates'. It's my company 'Pirates' very own pop up bar. We went in and redecorated an old bar and breathed new life into it. Then we opened the doors to the public, through parties and got drunk.

Describe your trademark style/character? (or What are you most famous
for?)

Erm, hotdogs, tentacles, condoms and boobs, all the good things basically!

If you could collaborate with one artist/group who would that be and why?

It would be to direct a music video for Jay-Z, he's the one!

What's your favourite colour?

Really don't have one, it changes all the time, this morning it was snot green.

Where and when did you start?

When I was 3, maybe earlier, I'd have to ask my mum.

How did you come to get your name?

I used to watch a cartoon called Penny Crayon. Whatever the main character drew became real, whether it was money, a car whatever. I like the idea that she could turn the depths of her imagination into real life. You won't achieve anything unless you visualise it first, so it's a great metaphor for success!

Where is the best place that you have worked and why?

New York City!! Because (apart from London) it's the best City in the world!!!

Disco, Alfa, Stika, Jamie Brown, Panic, Jiggery Pokery, Tanone, ATG, Monorex, Pirates

What other brands/companies have you worked for?

Nike, Reebok, Umbro, MTV, Sony, Malibu, Havana, erm plus more but I can't remember

What can we expect to see from you in the future?

MOVIES!!!!!!
